#62 - You're Not Being "Too Picky" By Having High Standards in Dating
It seems like every time you tell someone what you want in a relationship, you’re met with the same argument: you’re being too picky. Your friends, your family, even strangers(!) will all tell you that you need to lower your standards if you ever want to find a boyfriend.
And with an abundance of dating apps and websites, there’s a never-ending pool of potential partners to choose from. So, if you’re holding out for someone who meets all of your criteria, it can feel like you’ll never find them.
But the truth is, you’re not being “too picky” – you’re just being selective. And there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, having high standards is a good thing. On this week's episode of The Single Girl's Guide to Life, Chantelle discusses how having standards shows that you know what you want and how to hold those high standards, despite the scepticism that might surround you!
